Feast Cafe Bistro is the first of its kind in Manitoba; serving modern dishes rooted in traditional Indigenous ingredients. We wanted to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while connecting our guests with the rich Culture and history of Indigenous Peoples in our province. Our contemporary 50-seat restaurant is at the heart of Winnipeg’s Historic West End neighbourhood.

Owner Christa’s passion for food and community stems from her home, garden and heart which is found throughout our menu items. We feature favourites like fall-off-the-bone bison ribs with wild blueberries, butternut squash bannock pizza, and our wild rice salad with cranberries, sunflower seeds and Saskatoon vinaigrette. We give thanks for the gifts we receive from Mother Earth, from our locally sourced bison, wild rice, and pickerel to our cheese from New Bothwell, and coffee roasted right here in Winnipeg. Each dish is prepared with care, and appreciation for our shared ancestry. Our expansive catering menu has a taste of Indigenous culture for every palate. We regularly cater small private events in-house as well as larger events at outside venues. Feast is about community and reconnecting people from all walks of life with the rich history of our people.

Feast also provides employment opportunities to individuals seeking experience in the restaurant industry. We pride ourselves in being a pillar in the community, providing support to local organizations in the form of job practicums, mentorship, work experience programs, and business tours.

We invite you to visit Feast, connect with us and enjoy the bold flavours of our great land. Owner Christa’s passion for food and community is found in each of our menu items. Revitalizing Indigenous culture, one meal at a time

In our traditional cultures, food is harvested, cooked, and eaten with respect. Gathering around a table is an act of community — it is about feeding the mind, body, and spirit at the same time, with food that is thoughtfully harvested and prepared.
