Reconnect… to yourself. Embark on a voyage of self-discovery through an Indigenous Culture lens with Daphne Marsh at ShaMaSha in Newfoundland and Labrador. Learn from Daphne’s Mi’kmaq Culture, meditate on nature and companionship, and relax. Discover a safe space at ShaMaSha where people can learn, heal, and connect with one another—and the land—through healthy eating, meditation, yoga, and traditional Indigenous practices.

Book a retreat blending Kundalini yoga, meditation and breathwork with the Indigenous practices of connecting with the land, sea, and air. Join like-minded people in daily practice with sunrise and sunset experiences. Watch ocean life, pick wild berries, and feel supported in your health and wellness recovery journey. Daphne’s life has been rooted in Indigenous culture, and she’s had the good fortune of travelling to international retreats to study meditation, wellness, and yoga. She’s passionate about sharing that knowledge with all who come to ShaMaSha to learn, heal, and connect.

Revitalizing Indigenous culture, one meal at a time

In our traditional cultures, food is harvested, cooked, and eaten with respect. Gathering around a table is an act of community — it is about feeding the mind, body, and spirit at the same time, with food that is thoughtfully harvested and prepared.
